Less than six months after TCL Communications signed a global smartphone licensing partnership with BlackBerry Limited we now have availability details announced for North America. By the end of May users in the region will finally be able to purchase their very own BlackBerry KEYone smartphone running Android Nougat 7.1.1.

TCL Communications has announced that the BlackBerry KEYone will be available for pre-order on May 18th, 2017 through select partners in Canada. On-sale availability for the U.S and Canada will begin on May 31st, 2017. The device will go on sale next month at Bell, Bell MTS, Rogers, SaskTel and TELUS Business starting at $199 CAD on a two-year term. With BlackBerry's Canadian heritage in mind, it's great to see all the support for this new era of BlackBerry smartphones on the homefront.
